US official: bin Laden 'fully engaged' in plotting attacks

A U.S. intelligence official tells NBC News that a preliminary read of computer drives and other evidence seized from Osama bin Laden's compound in Pakistan indicates the al-Qaida leader was "fully engaged" in planning terror attacks: "Every morning, he woke up and tried to come up with ideas to attack the homeland that he could communicate with subordinates."
